SYPA Events - FAQ
What does SYPA stand for? SYPA stands for PrioNet Canada's Student and Young Professional Association (SYPA).
Who is invited? Students, post-doctoral fellows, and young professionals (technicians, research associates and research assistants), working on prion and prion related research, are invited to attend SYPA events. SYPA events are open to all students and young professionals.
What is SYPA Day? SYPA Day provides a forum for students and young professionals from PrioNet Canada, Alberta Prion Research Institute, and other groups to network with each other, learn more about research being conducted in Canada, and to improve on their scientific communication skills.
What/when are the events? The 5th Annual SYPA Day is taking place during the day on March 8, 2010 at the Westin Ottawa (11 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa).
The SYPA Social Night will be taking place on Sunday, March 7, 2010: 7:00 pm onward Aulde Dubliner Pourhouse 62 William, ByWard Market, Ottawa
How do I register? How much does it cost? Registration is FREE! Registration is available when you register for PrPCANADA; however, If you plan to attend SYPA Day and not PrPCANADA 2010, please contact Lyanne Foster with your complete contact information.
