Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster Boards
Each author will be provided a space of 4 feet across and 4 feet high.  Please ensure that you place your poster on the board number for you that appears in the final program. You will receive this board location information by e-mail to the presenting author.

Pushpins and Velcro sticky dots will be made available to mount your poster.  

Format
You may prepare your presentation on panels that are a minimum of 8.5 x 11 inches or as a large format printout.  If you elect to prepare your poster as a large format printout, the poster format size may not exceed the available horizontal/vertical space as indicated above.

Handouts
Table space will be made available for handouts or other materials during the Poster Session. Poster authors as well as other attendees are encouraged to provide handouts such as poster reprints or extended abstracts; however, this is not required.  

Submission
Those wishing to participate in the poster session must submit their abstract in english using the Abstract Submission Form (link at bottom of page) by midnight P.S.T. on January 18, 2010. 

Authors who submit their abstracts will receive notification of receipt via return e-mail. Notifications will be sent to the presenting author only. If abstract confirmation is not recieved within 48 hours of submission, please call 604-222-3600. 

Poster Competition
PrP^CANADA 2010 is holding a Student and Post-doctoral Fellow Poster Competition.
Presenting authors must be available during the judging hours at the conference:

• Tuesday, March 9 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
• Wednesday, March 10 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Poster competition winners will be announced at the awards dinner on Wednesday, March 10, 2010.
